Challenge Course Builder

Challenge Course Builders at CDI are at the heart of our mission to craft safe, innovative, and inspiring adventure experiences. In this role, you will work hands-on to design, construct, and install aerial adventure elements such as challenge courses, zip lines, and climbing towers. This position requires a balance of physical skill, technical knowledge, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, construct, and install ropes courses, zip lines, and other adventure park elements according to designs and industry standards.
Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all structures meet safety and quality specifications.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to implement innovative solutions on-site.
Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively during the building process.
Maintain detailed project documentation and adhere to timelines.
Engage in troubleshooting and problem-solving to address site-specific challenges.

Qualifications:

Experience in construction, carpentry, or related fields (preferred but not required).
Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments for extended periods.
Familiarity with ropes, harnesses, and climbing equipment is a plus.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Challenge Course Trainer

Challenge Course Trainers at CDI play a critical role in empowering clients to safely and effectively operate adventure courses, zip lines, and climbing towers. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to client needs, ensuring participants gain the skills and confidence required for successful course operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver customized training programs for clients on the safe operation of challenge courses, zip lines, and adventure park elements.
Provide hands-on instruction in equipment use, course facilitation, and emergency procedures.
Assess client knowledge and skills to ensure proper understanding and application of training material.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards, safety protocols, and best practices to maintain the highest level of training quality.
Maintain detailed training records and provide feedback to clients for ongoing improvement.
Collaborate with CDI’s design, construction, and inspection teams to ensure training aligns with course specifications.

Qualifications:

Experience in challenge course operations, facilitation, or related fields.
Strong communication and instructional skills.
Familiarity with ropes, harnesses, and safety equipment.
Certification in challenge course training or equivalent experience (preferred).
Ability to adapt training programs to meet diverse client needs and skill levels.
Commitment to safety and professionalism.
